Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones 35x35 Planet Mat Vintage Cast Signed by George Lucas, Christopher Lee, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson, Rick McCallum, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, & Kenny Baker

George Lucas directed Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, guiding the middle chapter of the prequel trilogy. This 35x35 planet mat brings his signature together with key members of the production, including Christopher Lee, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and Samuel L. Jackson. Planet mat is 35x35 in VG+ / EX condition mounted to 40x40 black board that has war around the edges, but that can be matted out while framing. Also signed by actor Jerome Blake, who personally got the actors to sign this massive Table Top Planet Mat on the set of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in person wile filming resulting in beautiful vintage signatures. It was then auctioned off for the charity Medicinema 20 years ago. Includes a copy of an signed LOA from Jerome Blake. Below is the provenance from the original charity listing: Jerome was cast in Episode III and every film studio he went to, every set he was on, the mats went too, tucked underneath his arm and so it began... "In July 2003, I saw Kenny Baker (R2D2) at a Star Wars event in Norwich, England. Kenny's signature was added to the mats and, in droid terms, the circle was complete. Next stop - Skywalker Ranch, January 2004. George Lucas and Rick McCallum had already supported MediCinema by allowing the first night screening of The Attack of The Clones and both were happy to add their autographs. Later that year, I received my filming schedule for The Revenge of The Sith - Shepperton Studios, London August 2004. The Force was strong that day. The call sheet revealed that, in the space of a week, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Christopher Lee and Ian McDiarmid would all be filming at the studio. On the first day at the studio, Ewan (also a patron of MediCinema) was a tremendous help; co-ordinating Hayden and Natalie's signing of the mats between takes. A couple of days later during lunch, Samuel L.Jackson added his name. In the morning, Christopher Lee invited me to his dressing room and in the afternoon, while I was being made up for an appearance as Mas Amedda, Ian McDiarmid signed - the wish-list complete.
